Sunday:  August 7  noon – 5  (this is the only Sunday during the crawl that we will be open)

COVID Precautions

All Cowgirl Yarn staff, including instructors, are fully vaccinated. The staff does continue to wear masks. We encourage masks to be worn in the shop but they are not required.

In-Store Events

• July 29th–August 8th: Berroco trunk show in the shop.
• July 7th – September 1: Alexandra The Art of Yarn trunk show in the shop.
• August 4th: Adventure Bound Designs: Whitney Terrell will be here featuring herdesigns, Adventure Bound Designs, as well as showing off the Queensland collection yarns. A live streaming event will be offered for our virtual yarn crawlers at 12:00pm (MST).
• August 6th: Herd of Cats/Road Trip Sock Yarn Trunk Show: Join us in welcoming Ali Pate, professional yarn dyer, who will be discussing her amazing collections of hand-dyed yarns — Herd of Cats and Road Trip Yarns. This is a Facebook Live event (more information will be announced soon!)
• August 6th: Windblown Fibers Sock Demo: Hannah Miller with WindblownFibers will be demonstrating sock tube knitting and discussing the process! Thisis a Facebook Live event (more information will be announced soon!)
• August 7th: Special hours. We will be open from noon to 5:00 pm (MST). This isthe only Sunday during the crawl that we will be open.
• August 9th: Nerdy Sheep Fiber Works Trunk Show: Erin Miller and SchaetzieEngel will be here with their naturally dyed yarns, Adventure Kits, and more! Hear their story and see their beautiful, naturally dyed products during this live, Zoom event while they are at Cowgirl Yarn with their trunk show!

Online Events

• August 1st: Live from Mongolia! August 1st, Zoom @ 9:00am (MST): Jon Hetts will be live from Mongolia at 9:00am (MST) talking about his yarn company, Ula and Lia, to show off his cashmere, camel, and yak lines. Check out our events page for the virtual link!
• August 2nd: Virtual tour of Cowgirl Yarn: August 2nd, Facebook Live @ 2:00pm (MST): Lori Kirk, the owner of Cowgirl Yarn, will be giving a live virtual tour of the shop and the Fernwood Studio downstairs starting at 2:00pm (MST).

We look forward to your visit to Laramie, Wyoming! We love our town and we are happy to suggest dining and other sightseeing activities when you come.

We have a lovely back patio, and you are welcome to sit and work on your project for as long as you like. We also encourage you to pack a lunch or grab some take-out if you don’t want to dine out but need a place to eat in the shade and with good company. Just let us know how we can make your visit special!

During the crawl, Cowgirl Yarn will have door prizes and a give-away of a $50 gift certificate.
